Joe Morgan BMus (Hons) ATCL - Company Director
Swansea born Joe Morgan studied at the prestigious music conservatoire The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Since graduating he has worked internationally as a professional operatic tenor performing such roles as Alfredo in Verdi’s La Traviata, Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madam Butterfly and Don José in Bizet’s Carmen to name a few. Alongside his performance career, Joe has also gained a vast amount of teaching experience working with hundreds of music students across a wide age range.
In addition to opera, Joe’s musical experience spans numerous genres after many years fronting various bands covering styles ranging from Country to Soul, to Rock and Pop. Joe also has a passion for Musical Theatre and has performed such roles as Curly in Oklahoma! and most recently King Triton in The Little Mermaid. Joe will be returning to the stage later this year performing the role of The Beast in Beauty and the Beast at The Gwyn Hall in Neath.
In 2014 Joe decided to move back to Swansea to raise a family in his home town. Since being home Joe has had the pleasure of conducting The Addam’s Family, Oliver, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Summer Holiday and has recently taken up the position of Musical Director with the extremely talented performance troupe ProAm.
